White Hot Forever is the upcoming seventh studio album and sixth major-label studio album by Lana Del Rey. The album is set to be released in 2020.

Background

Del Rey first revealed that she had been working on a new record on August 30, 2019, the release date of Norman Fucking Rockwell!, in an interview with Al Horner for The Times. In the interview, she announced the title of the project, and explained that parts of the album had already been written. Del Rey estimated that the record would most likely be released within 12 to 13 months of the interview, in 2020, as a surprise release.[1] Del Rey also revealed that the record will sound similar to her previous album, Norman Fucking Rockwell!.

Also Lana told a fan that she changed the album title. The title is currently unknown.

Inspiration

In an interview for Q Magazine during October 2019, Del Rey hinted at the theme of the album saying, “I only think of star signs for the next thing I’m doing.” She also confirmed that she already recorded three tracks for the album.
