"Watercolor Eyes" (originally titled "Wild Horses^{[S 1]}") is a song by Lana Del Rey, featured on the soundtrack of the second season of A24's television series Euphoria. It was released as a single on January 21, 2022.

Background[]

The song was written and recorded in 2021 by Del Rey and Nasri, who co-produced the track with Drew Erickson. It was reportedly considered for inclusion on Del Rey's eighth studio album, Blue Banisters.^{[S 2]}

The song was first teased by an insider on Twitter on January 10, 2022, who hinted that a new Del Rey song would be featured in the TV series Euphoria.^[1] The song's title would be revealed a few days later.^[2]

On January 17, 2022, Del Rey posted a snippet of the song on her Instagram.^[3] Two days later, a second snippet was posted via Euphoria's official Twitter account alongside an announcement that the song would be released on January 21.^[4]
