A snippet of an alternate version of the song leaked on May 10th, 2016. The full instrumental surfaced on the Internet on August 13th, 2016. Two vocal outtakes leaked on March 6th, 2017.

Live performances

Del Rey performed this song several times as part of the setlist for her 2015 Endless Summer Tour. The first performance was on the first date on May 7 in The Woodlands, TX, alongside the other unreleased songs "Serial Killer" and "You Can Be the Boss".^[1]^[2]^[3]
