In the review, they confirmed that an early version of "Beautiful People Beautiful Problems" sans Stevie Nicks was originally intended for the Tim Burton film, Big Eyes, and also revealed the song title of "The Good Life," with both being recorded in 2014.[1]

Del Rey's cover was recorded on July 30, 2014. This rendition of the song features a sparse arrangement of strings, electric guitar, and drums. It is performed in the key of A minor and at a tempo of approximately 99 beats per minute, lasting a duration of three minutes and thirty-seven seconds.

 Lyrics[edit | edit source]

Oh, the good life, full of fun
Seems to be the ideal
Yes, the good life lets you hide
All the sadness you feel

You won't really fall in love
For you can't take the chance
So be honest with yourself
Don't try to fake romance

It's the good life, to be free
And explore the unknown
Like the heartaches when you learn
You must face life alone

Please remember, I still want you
And in case you wonder why
Well, just wake up
Kiss the good life goodbye
