Beautiful People Beautiful Problems Edit
On April 26, 2017, it was confirmed that Nicks would be featured on a track from Lana Del Rey's fifth studio album, Lust for Life. The title of the song was later revealed to be "Beautiful People Beautiful Problems".
Originally, Del Rey wanted Nicks to open the song, but Nicks insisted that she take the second verse. After recording the track, she gave Del Rey a tiny golden H.
Nicks describes Del Rey as her "witchy sister" across generations, and Del Rey says Nicks is "full of surprises". The two have lots of mutual admiration for each other, and their recording session was considered "memorable for all the right reasons."
- Nicks decided she wanted to be a performer after doing a tap dance routine in her sixth-grade talent show
- Jimi Hendrix once dedicated a song to her at a gig
- She has her own charity project, The Stevie Nicks Soldier's Angel Foundation, which aims to use music in the rehabilitation of soldiers wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq. The foundation gives soldiers iPods that already are filled with music.
