"Starry Eyed" (not to be confused with the song of the same name produced by Rick Nowels in 2012) is an unreleased song by Lana Del Rey.

Background

On February 8, 2018, Del Rey visited the Ryan Seacrest Foundation where four ukelele players taught her to play four chords on the ukelele. She started to write a tropical song that was titled "Starry Eyed". She promised to finish the song and to dedicate it to the foundation.[1]

Lyrics

[Snippet]:
Da da da da da da
Da da da da da da
Baby, da da da da da
Lately, but I see a sun
I know when, I know why
I see a sun
I know when, I know why

"Told you I’d bring something more sparkly than a fish pebble for next time 🎆 We had song requests but both girlies acknowledged I would have to alter the lyrics if I sang them !! And what were the chances of having four ukelele players in the room ?? So they all taught me four chords and I started to write a new little tropical song. Had the best time.
