Sean Taro Ono Lennon is a British-American singer, songwriter, and actor. He is the only son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono. He is featured on Lana Del Rey's fifth studio album, Lust for Life.

Tomorrow Never Came

Lennon serves as a featured vocalist, co-writer, and producer on Lana Del Rey's song "Tomorrow Never Came" from her fifth studio album and fourth major-label studio album, Lust for Life, which was officially released worldwide on July 21, 2017.

Speculation from Del Rey's fans that Lennon would be featured on the album occurred when the Lust for Life album trailer was released, due to the fact that the trailer featured the logo for 'Chimera Music', Lennon's record label. During an interview with Courtney Love for Dazed magazine prior to the album's release, Del Rey confirmed that he was featured on the record.

Yoko Ono called the collaboration Sean's best work yet, and the song received generally favorable reviews. Del Rey included the line, "I wish we could go back to your country house and put on the radio and listen to our favorite song by Lennon and Yoko," so he wouldn't feel like she was name-checking them through him. She had been listening to Lennon for a few years before the collab, and liked his vibe.

Lennon says that he loved working with Del Rey and had been a big fan of hers for years prior to the collab. Apparently, they had never met before Del Rey reached out with "Tomorrow Never Came". After she did, Lennon rewrote his verse, and had extensive notes down to the mix. He then preceded to finish up the record.
