Relationship with Lana Del Rey[]
On September 23, 2019, Larkin and Del Rey were first seen together during a Central Park date.
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times in October 2019, Del Rey commented:[1]
- "I didn't know we were being photographed. I would've worn something different."
On January 25, 2020, they first officially appeared together as a couple at the Pre-Grammy Gala.
In an interview with The New York Times in March 2020, Larkin said that the pair were no longer a couple:[2]
- "Right now, we're just friends. We still talk and whatnot, we just have busy schedules right now. When we were in Tulsa we hung out with my law enforcement friends and their spouses. We all Super Bowl partied together, dinners and things like that," he continued.
Del Rey and Larkin eventually started seeing each other again at some point, and Larkin married another woman in early 2022, apparently while still in couple's therapy with Del Rey.[3] On December 18, 2022, Del Rey put up the only billboard for her upcoming album Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd in Larkin's hometown of Tulsa, explaining, "There's only one and it's in Tulsa ☠️," adding in comments, "It's. personal."[4] In a performance at Hyde Park in London on July 9, 2023, Del Rey unveiled new lyrics for her song "Chemtrails over the Country Club", saying:[3]
- "He's born in December and got married when we were still together. He got married when we were in couple's therapy together, sometimes I wonder what his wife would think if she knew"
