His work with Lana Del Rey started since collaborating with his production partner Rick Nowels and ever since then has contributed playing a wide variety instruments, from strings, pads to chamberlin. Nowels referred to him as a "superb musician", and stated that "Patrick Warren has done strings and keyboards on all the Lana records since 'Summertime Sadness'. He is a big part of the 'Lana' sound".[1]
