"Party Girl" is an unreleased song by Lana Del Rey. It was recorded in 2009 and leaked February 23, 2014. It should not be confused with "St. Tropez", another song by Del Rey registered as "Party Girl", nor with "Daytona Meth" which uses the same instrumental, nor "Us Against the World" with which it shares many of its lyrics. The producer of the song is unknown as it is not registered on BMI, ASCAP, or any other service. On May 12, 2016, a second version of the song leaked from which half of Del Rey's vocals are missing.
Cross references
- Many lyrical similarities to "Us Against the World".
- Del Rey calls herself a "party girl" in "St. Tropez" and "Queen of Disaster".
- Del Rey refers to herself as the "queen of New York" in "Old Money", "Summer of Sam" and "Us Against The World".
Version 1
I’m his little downtown baby doll
I’m his little downtown baby doll
He likes to come and hear me sing rock and roll
And watch me when I’m workin' on the silver pole
I’m his little downtown baby doll
Doesn't mind what I do for work at all
‘Cause you live like you’re rich when you’re beautiful
I fill it up, work it out, night falls, I’m a star
If you want it supersize, I can do that for ya
If you want it double fries, I can do that for ya
If you want a cola, I can make it colder
If you want a bad girl, uh, nobody’s bolder
And if you want the queen of New York
Then you better call me, me
I’m his little downtown baby doll
Travel on the train to the festival
Come and get your girl, yo, he gets the call
Come and picks me up at the baron ball
I’m his little downtown baby doll
Everybody tells him I’m trouble, y’all
Doesn’t really care ‘cause he likes to fall
You know the working girls? I’m the worst of them all
If you want it supersize, I can do that for ya
If you want it double fries, I can do that for ya
If you want a cola, I can make it colder
If you want a bad girl, uh, nobody’s bolder
And if you want the queen of New York
Then you better call me, me
Little girl, you gonna get me fired
Lucky for you that I’m so inspired
By everywhere you move and the things that you do
I think that I gotta hold onto you
Say yeah, yeah, I say yeah, you
Say yeah, yeah, I say yeah, you do
If you want it supersize, I can do that for ya
If you want it double fries, I can do that for ya
If you want a cola, I can make it colder
If you want a bad girl, uh, nobody’s bolder
And if you want the queen of New York
Then you better call me, me
