"On Our Way" (also known as "Heavier Than Heaven") is an unreleased song by Lana Del Rey . It was recorded on February 6, 2010 and leaked on November 6, 2011. A demo of the song leaked on September 30, 2012. The song was the first collaboration between Del Rey and Justin Parker.^[1]

Background

Del Rey uploaded the song to SoundCloud profile on March 22, 2010, alongside other songs "Hundred Dollar Bill", "Velvet Crowbar", "Us Against the World", "Kinda Outta Luck" and "You Can Be the Boss".^[2] On July 27, 2017, Del Rey stated that she would like to rerelease the song if she released an album of her favorite unreleased songs.

Background and description

Del Rey created her own homemade music video for the song in 2010 and posted it to her "UhaulJoe" YouTube channel on April 13, 2010. Like most of her earlier music videos, it features clips of Del Rey singing along to the song and clips she gathered from miscellaneous films and videos.

There is also a different version of the music video that features the same scenes of Del Rey but different shots. However, only a one minute clip of this video is available online and a full version remains unleaked.
