"Moi Je Joue" (or "Moije Joue", French for "Me I Play") is an unreleased song by Lana Del Rey. It was recorded in 2009 and leaked on October 14, 2012. The song was co-written and produced by Princess Superstar, who also performs her own verse in the song. It is registered to ISWC.

Background

The song was recorded in Princess Superstar's in-home recording studio in an apartment on the lower east side of East Village, New York City called Red Square. The track was recorded in the same session as "Live Forever (Golden Grill)", "Maha Maha", and "Catch and Release". It samples the 1964 song "Moi Je Joue" by Brigitte Bardot.

Over the years, Princess Superstar has taken to social media to speak about the sessions her and Del Rey had together. Superstar largely hasn't spoken highly of "Moi Je Joue" since it first leaked. In a 2012 message, she wrote, "i have no idea who leaked this lana song i made and how and honestly we have made better songs which i wish were leaked instead of this one!".

Del Rey used the lyric "I am/me, your vulgar darling, glimmering in the swimming pool" as her bio on two of her old Twitter accounts, @MissDaytona & @drugmoney.
