Well, I was like on a crazy high about each song for a week after the release. Currently, TLY is my favorite, I love the familiarity and how forgein it is at the same time... I can see why this is Lana's favorite :-)
Hey, what about making an article for Honeymoon hotline? When you call it, it says to call it every week for new info, etc., so maybe it's worth an article? Or a section in the article for Honeymoon about it?
Hi! Thank you so much for adding the missing music videos. It's just that for some reason you can't play the Lolita video or the Blue Jeans video that you added from this website, you can only play them on YouTube. Maybe because the uploads are on private but I'm not sure. Could re upload them to YouTube or Vimeo so it could work. Thank you! also are you sure the Yayo video is official? She doesn't seem to be lip syncing to the lyrics in any clips and some clips are re used from other videos. It's hard to tell since fans create so many videos similar to her style.
Actually I uploaded the Blue Jeans and Lolita music videos on my YouTube channel but left them unlisted. Maybe making them public will fix the problem.
I took the Yayo video from a channel but I also own a copy on my PC. I am going to check if they are the same. Otherwise, I will upload that one too. I am pretty sure it is not a fan-made one because I have seen it many times around the Internet.
By the way, we need a new cateogory for Unreleased music videos.
Thank you for your kind review. It is nice to see someone that appreciates my efforts in finding these videos.
I don't know what it is wrong with those two because they work fine for me from wikia.
I can confirm all of them are official version. I spent quite a lot of time to research about them. The only one that is not in the original state is Video Games (the 1 of 3 music video) because of the vocals and I could not find one that does not have the vocals pitched.
Hi! noticed that the third Video Games video has been taken down. Could you link me to where I can view it? I'm trying to reupload. The second West Coast video also got taken down and I'm working on that as well! Thanks x
UPDATE: Nvm I found it, just working on re uploading it without getting taken down again :)
Glad that you mananged to reupload them. Honestly, it would have been way better if the videos were uploaded straight on the Wikia and not via streaming sites like YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion etc. where the copyright infrigment is so sensilbe.
Actually still working on figuring out how to upload, I have both the missing VG and WC videos on my computer but it seems the only way to upload them is to get rights from the record label, so unfortunately I'll probably have to pitch them. Hopefully I'll have them up by tonight though!
I've been wanting to ask you if you know anyone selling unreleased/unleaked Lana material like outtakes, instrumentals, demos, stems, whatever available? I have a nice collection but i don't like trading to avoid potential leaks.
Can’t answer for sure at this question but I believe that demos produced with David Kahne could be put under “Lana Del Ray” pseudonym and the others (‘No Kung Fu’ demos, those 2 recording sessions from where we got ‘Raise Me Up’ and ‘Oh Say Can You See’ demos, the ‘Rehab’ demo and so on) could be put under “Lizzy Grant”.
Maybe ‘Mermaid Motel’ and ‘Brite Lites’ demos produced by Steven Mertens could be put also under “Lana Del Ray” pseudonym.
I listened to everything you sent and here are my conclusions:
1) First YouTube link:
I can’t put my finger on “Young and Beautiful” (Demo 2) and “Children of the Bad Revolution” (Demo 2). People have speculated that they are made with stems. Same for the “Is It Wrong” (Version 2), but this one seem to be real.
“Girl that Got Away” (Demo) and “Motel 6” (Alternate version) are fake because they are made up with stems.
I have never heard about that “Trash Magic” (Early mix). I don’t know from where it came up, so I can’t decide if it’s real or not. It’s the first time I hear it.
Other than these ones, eveything is real.
2) Second YouTube link:
Everything is real with the exception of “Cherry” (Vocal Mix) and “God Bless America” (Vocal Mix), which seem to be filtered a cappellas which makes them fanmade. The instrumental can still be heard.
There are speculations that “Summer Bummer” (Unknown Alt. Mix) might be fake due to the way it sounds and the very poor quality of the snippet. However, it came from the same person who teased “So Good” demo so it might be real. Might! I can’t say for sure.
3) Soundcloud link:
Everything is ok, but again I can’t pronounce about “Young and Beautiful” and “Children of the Bad Revolution” demos that are there and that are also heard in the first YouTube video.
Moreover, a couple of the song teased in this ones have been leaked:
I’m suprised because they are the one who shared the snippet of “Brooklyn Baby” stems, if I remember correctly. As for the others, I had my thoughts that they we’re fake indeed.
Are the DMDB snippets really both a cappella? The one does not sound like that somehow. and which snippet is leaked to first?
Yes, both snippets are from that a cappella demo. However, one of them is a recording of the song being played on PC (you can hear the mouse clicks and sounds very low quality - https://picosong.com/Bnay/), while the other snippet is from the song itself (you can hear the vocals more clear - https://picosong.com/DdDT/)
the third version is still unleaked but we got 3 snippets from it: the first snippet leaked in August 2016 (https://picosong.com/HEV3/), the second one in December 2016 and the last snippet in March 2017. I can’t find the other snippets. I think they were took down.
While she never published this song, because it is not registered anywhere and it was just a rumour before the snippets started leaking, I think it was done under “Lana Del Rey” pseudonym, but maybe I am wrong. I am only assuming this because “I Want It All” was later turned into “National Anthem”, which is by “Lana Del Rey”.
