"Meet Me In the Pale Moonlight" is an unreleased song by Lana Del Rey. It was recorded in 2010 and leaked on April 2, 2014. The song was co-written and produced by One Louder, a production duo consisting of Paddy Dalton and Duck Blackwell. The track is registered with BMG.^[1] It was written for another artist, but also could've been considered for Born to Die.

Background

Before the song had leaked, two snippets, posted March 23, 2014 and April 1, 2014, appeared online. Many fans suspected the track was the newest single for Del Rey's second major-label studio album Ultraviolence, but in a tweet on April 4, she confirmed it was written for another artist in 2010 and simultaneously announced the single "West Coast".^[2]
