"Maha Maha" (also known as "Bollywood Hawaii" and "Maha") is an unreleased song by Lana Del Rey. It was co-written and produced by Princess Superstar.

Background

The track was recorded in 2009 in the same session as "Live Forever (Golden Grill)", "Moi Je Joue", and "Catch and Release". According to Princess Superstar, it is both her and Del Rey's favorite track the two did together. In a video on TikTok, Superstar revealed she became familiar with the term "maha" through a yoga studio she had been attending. The song was recorded in Superstar's in-home recording studio in an apartment on the lower east side of East Village, New York City called Red Square. The song's instrumental is titled "Bollywood Hawaii in Space", which is likely derived from the title of one of Del Rey's demos of the song.

The second demo of the song, titled "Maha", leaked on July 15, 2013. On July 28, Princess Superstar uploaded the final version of the song to her SoundCloud. The first demo of the song, titled "Bollywood Hawaii", leaked on September 17. All three versions of the song contain different vocal takes, production, and lyrics. In 2022, Princess Superstar uploaded a rework of the final version to her SoundCloud, though it has since been removed.
