Live My Life is a song by the Australian duo Tamarama from their debut, eponymously titled album, which was released June 1, 2010. The song was written by bandmates Nicolas Potts, Jay Lyon and David Kahne, who also produced the track.
Involvement with Lana Del Rey
On May 3, 2010 David Kahne contacted Lana Del Rey saying:
- "Mowtown needs you to sign something concerning your bits on that Tamarama song."
Del Rey had provided a sample of her vocals for the track, which can be heard during the chorus wherein she sings "hey" as a response to the male vocalist.
