On September 27, 2017, Lana Del Rey announced her LA to the Moon Tour, in support of her fifth studio album, Lust for Life. She also revealed that Uchis would be joining her as an opening act on the North American leg of the tour from January 15 to February 16, 2018, taking the place of American singer Jhené Aiko, who toured with Del Rey from January 5 to 13, 2018.
