Jeremy Dufrene is a Cajun swamp tour boat operator. He has been with Lana Del Rey since at least early-to-mid 2024.[2] The two married on September 26, 2024.

Dufrene works for a tour boat company in Des Allemands, Louisiana, called Airboat Tours by Arthur. He has taken celebrities on tour from time to time, such as Kate Hudson, Emma Roberts, and Glen Powell. During his travels, he feeds wild alligators in the swamps near his home, which he affectionately refers to as his ‘Cajun yard dogs’.[3]
Relationship with Lana Del Rey[]
Dufrene and Del Rey likely first met when she performed at the BUKU Music + Art Project in Louisiana in March 2019. She went on a bayou boat tour with Dufrene as her guide, sharing photos on Instagram and Facebook with him, her friends, and of him kissing an alligator.[4]
On March 10, 2024, Del Rey posted a photo of herself with a man's hands around her waist. Around that time, she was also seen wearing a necklace in the shape of the letter "J", possibly referring to Jeremy.[5] On May 16, Del Rey shared a photo of her herself with her brother and his wife Valerie, with the caption, "Family w my guy @jeremy.dufrene 📸 @codyjay".[6]
During her August 2024 Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd Promotional Tour live performances of "Chemtrails over the Country Club", Del Rey changed the lyrics of the song to: "He's born in March and I'm born in June", potentially referencing his birth month.[7]
Del Rey was seen holding hands with Dufrene at her August 24 performance at Reading Festival.[8] Two days later, the pair were seen together at Harrods Coffee Bar in London.[9] On September 7, Del Rey brought Dufrene as her plus-one to the wedding of model Karen Elson and Lee Foster in New York City.[10]
On September 26, 2024, TMZ reported that Del Rey and Dufrene had applied for and received a marriage certificate in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana earlier that week on September 23.[11] On September 27, photos of the pair's wedding in Des Allemands from the day before surfaced.
Controversy[]
Upon the media whirlwind that surrounded the pair's newly public relationship, Dufrene was met with backlash after his social media accounts were shown to contain posts that praised former U.S. President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and violence against transgender people. Del Rey took to Instagram to deny some rumors circulating on Twitter.[12]
In clips posted to TikTok in September 2024, Del Rey can be seen in the doorway of Dufrene's trailer while a disturbance between his daughters and other aggressors takes place on his front lawn.[13]
