"Drive By" (erroneously referred to as "Sirens" and "For K, Pt. 1", but potentially related to "For K") is a song by Lana Del Rey, written and recorded under her previous stage name May Jailer. It is featured as the ninth track on her unreleased 2005 EP From the End, and serves as the opening track on her 2006 unreleased acoustic album Sirens.
Background[]
The song leaked with no metadata on May 31, 2012, along with the rest of the contents of the rare Sirens CD. On January 29, 2014, a higher quality file of the song leaked alongside the other tracks of From the End. This leak confirmed "Drive By" to be the title of the song.
When attempting to upload "Drive By" to YouTube, the site's copyright auto-detection software blocks the upload as "For K".[1] Fans have speculated that "For K" could be an alternate title of the song,[S 1] though this distinction has also been given to the tentatively titled "Pretty Baby".

Lyrics[]
There was a drive-by Sunday night
Most of us were in bed, all right
I turned down the light
Then I heard the sirens interrupt the silence
Is this what you wished, to commit a crime?
Is this what you wished, to commit a crime?
Is this what you wished, to commit a crime, commit a crime, commit a crime?
He was a nice guy, really bright
Making money's hard to do right
Guilty was his plight
Now he's in a jail cell for some thirty years now
Is this what you wished, to be servin' time?
Is this what you wished, to be servin' time?
Is this what you wished, to be servin' time, servin' time, servin' time?
K's a friend of mine
I think about him as he does time
Miss his white wine
Funny, I don't feel free even though it's not me
Is this what you wished, to leave me behind?
Is this what you wished, to leave me behind?
Is this what you wished, to leave me behind, me behind, me behind?
Last year, they decided
That his time was up and then he got retried
Double homicide
Sent him onto death row, not to hang around, though
Is this what you wished, did you wanna die?
Is this what you wished, did you wanna die?
Is this what you wished, did you wanna die, wanna die, wanna die?
Did you wanna die, wanna die, wanna die, wanna die?
Did you wanna die?
