Courtney Michelle Love (born Courtney Michelle Harrison) is an American rock musician, songwriter and actress. She rose to prominence in the 1990s as the frontwoman of the successful alternative rock band Hole. She is also known for her marriage with Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain. Love was born in San Francisco, California and she grew up in Portland, Oregon

On December 1, 2014, it was announced that Love would be joining Lana Del Rey on the Endless Summer Tour, a 2015 North American concert tour to promote Del Rey's second major-label studio album, Ultraviolence. Love toured with Del Rey for the first half of the tour from May 7th to 22nd, 2015, before Canadian singer Grimes took her place as Del Rey's opening act for the second half of dates on the tour. Love also interviewed Del Rey during 2017, the interview was published in the spring/summer issue of Dazed magazine
