"Blue Madonna" is a song by American singer and songwriter Børns. The song is the title track from his second studio album, Blue Madonna, which was officially released worldwide on January 12, 2018. The song features background vocals from Lana Del Rey and is their second collaboration on the album, following "God Save Our Young Blood".

Background and writing

On October 9, 2017 Børns shared a video of Del Rey in the studio with him, leading fans to speculate that she would be featured on his upcoming album. The album, Blue Madonna, was announced on December 7, 2017 and weeks after it was revealed that Del Rey would feature on the single "God Save Our Young Blood". When the album was released, it was revealed that Del Rey also contributed background vocals to the title track "Blue Madonna".
