"Spender" is a song by British rapper Smiler featuring Lana Del Rey. The song comes from Smiler's mixtape All I Know where it is listed as "Spender (Blinkie Mix)". Del Rey covers a portion of the song "Big Spender" from the musical Sweet Charity made famous by Shirley Bassey. A demo of the song surfaced sometime in 2012.
Background
On 13 August, 2010, Del Rey tweeted on her old, now defunct, Twitter account, @MissDaytona, that she was "in studio [with] @smilermusic." This could have been when she worked with Smiler to produce the demo for "Spender", although it is not confirmed.
