"Bad Boy" is an unreleased song by Lana Del Rey. It was recorded in 2010 under the pseudonym Lana Del Ray.

Background

The song was first alluded to on a Tumblr account on May 3, 2019 and a snippet leaked on May 21, 2019. An edited version of the full song was leaked on June 3, 2019. It was recorded in the same session as "Playing Dangerous" and samples Claude Debussy's "Clair de Lune". On August 1, 2019 two unaltered demos of the songs leaked.

Because the song was recorded in the same session as "Playing Dangerous", there is a high chance that the track was produced by the same producers, which are Mads Louis Hauge and Phil Thornalley, but currently this is not confirmed.

Cross-references

Claude Debussy's "Clair de Lune", which this song samples, was also used in the music video for "Freak". It was also used as an interlude during her live performance of the previously mentioned song.
