Garrett Clark Borns, better known by his stage name Børns (stylized in all caps), is an American singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He released his first EP, A Dream Between, under his real name in 2012 and he has since released his debut studio album, Dopamine, in 2015 and in 2018 he released his second studio album, Blue Madonna, which features vocal contributions from Lana Del Rey. As well as working with Del Rey, Børns has worked with her sister Chuck Grant on various promotional photoshoots.

God Save Our Young Blood[]

On October 9, 2017, Børns shared a video of Del Rey in the studio with him, leading fans to speculate that she would be featured on his upcoming album. Del Rey later alluded to the collaboration in a livestream and in December, 2017, Børns announced that his second studio album Blue Madonna was slated for a January 2018 release. Before the official tracklist was announced by Børns, the track "God Save Our Young Blood" was registered with Børns and Del Rey credited as performers. "God Save Our Young Blood" was released as a single on January 2, 2018.

Blue Madonna[]

On January 12, 2018, when the album Blue Madonna was released it was revealed that Del Rey had also contributed background vocals to the record's title track, "Blue Madonna".

LA to the Moon Tour[]

On January 16, 2018, it was revealed that Børns would serve as the opening act for all dates on the Australian leg of Del Rey's 2018 LA to the Moon Tour, in support of Lust for Life. Børns supported Del Rey in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney from March 29 to April 2, 2018.
