"A Star for Nick" is an acoustic song by Lana Del Rey, written and recorded as May Jailer. It is the third track from her unreleased demo album Sirens. Unlike most of the songs on the album it features added reverb. It was leaked before the rest of the album on December 16, 2011, alongside "Money Hunny".

Background

The song was written about the singer Nick Drake. In a YouTube comment about the song, Del Rey said "This is from when i was 17. have no idea where u got it from."
