Del Rey held a Barnes & Noble meet-and-greet for her debut poetry book, Violet Bent Backwards over the Grass. She then proceeded to get roasted for wearing a mesh mask in the middle of a pandemic, but sister Chuck Grant said she tested negative pre-event.[1] Del Rey later claimed there was plastic sewn underneath as an added layer of protection.[2]
